Robertto Petik & Martin Balogh Ensemble

Robertto Petik is a multi instrumentalist from Slovakia, based in London. Currently, in his 3rd year, studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. His main instrument is violin but also plays viola, piano, cello, guitar and double bass. He began playing the violin at the age of 5 and performed right after a few lessons. Plays a variety of genres, but his favorites are classical, jazz and traditional Roma music. He has worked with various artists in composing, collaborating, and producing. Robertto also teaches privately, helping children and adults get into music. 

He is accompanied by the ensemble of the Ghent-Slovak pianist-accordionist Martin Balogh. And who knows, this time they might bring along some extra friends-musicians again. It will certainly be an enjoyable afternoon filled with Roma traditionals and Gipsy jazz standards. A beautiful conclusion to this edition of Fiddlers on the Move!
