Toby Kuhn Invites

Not really a Fiddler but definitely On The Move, French cellist Toby Kuhn invites a collection of unusual and surprising musicians, some close collaborators and some more occasional representing the wide array of his musical experiences across genre, style and tradition. Toby decants an exploration of his instrument through wide-ranging improvisation, bringing his musical musings to the stage in an effort to intoxicate his audience with the soft beauty of the cello and his love of the ephemeral.

His thirst for musical exchange has thrown him far and wide, meeting a cast of characters who will share an evening of rearranged Bulgarian tunes, newly-composed Americana, high-energy adventures and delicate set-pieces, all with quite a high dose of improvisation. Joined on stage by three fiddlers, a bassist, an accordionist and a singer, Toby will offer you an snapshot of an enriching, never-ending trip. Don’t miss this unique concert!
